Kara ate on her own from a bowl for the first time!!!

I could not be happier today! Kara finally ate her food out of a bowl all by herself!!! Woohoo!!!

Kitties and Kiddies!

Kara had some wee little visitors this week. Cole and his sister Sadie came to the office to play! Here is Cole teaching Kara some snuggling skills!

Lincoln Update!

Well it did not take long for him and his new big sis to become snuggle buddies. Isn't this adorable! This is the reward right here.

Papa Bear

Mr Eko has really stepped up! He just loves this little girl! He raised Tigra when she came in to our home at 3.5 mos and now he is loving and teaching little Kara.
They snuggle together, he cleans her, they wrestle, and sometimes he just sits next to her while she sleeps!

And after all that, there is still plenty of lovin for his #1 girl, Tigra.

Kara is getting big!

What a difference a week makes!
Kara is now 5 weeks old! She can run, play with my cats, use teh litterbox on her own, and is still snugglerific!
Kara weighed in at 1 pound on Dec 31, we went to the vet yesterday, Dec 9, and she gained 7 ounces! What a big girl!
Kara loves to hang out in her hammock to play and to take a cat nap!
She also loves shoes!

Kara starts her work day by reviewing her paperwork.

Then she has a little nap behind the keyboard. After that, she checks in on her team and makes sure Donna and Kim are getting all the work out.

By the end of the day she is just exhausted and passes out!

Look who found the baby's heating pad...

I was in the kitchen doing dishes and when I walked in to the living room I saw Eko inside Kara's crate on the heating pad. He is so smart! She was happy to get some snuggle time in.

Dinner for 2 and a half...

Kara is still only interested in her bottle. She has absolutely no interest in drinking her formula from a saucer or trying wet food.

I put here next to Eko and Tigra while they were eating dinner hoping she would learn from them, but she just played with Eko's tail.

Kara is learning to play!

Over the past few days, Kara has learned to play with toys!

Lincoln update!

Lincoln is doing VERY well in his new home! He and his new big sis are playing and snuggling! Here is a pic from their mama. Notice Lola is still very curious! But Lincoln has made himself at home! Sophie says they are playing together and Lincoln gave Lola a facial yesterday! I love it!

Kara's big day

Kara has tested negative for FELV/FIV! Yay! So even though she will need to be tested again at 6 mos, I have allowed her to interact with my cats. She LOVES it, and so do they! Eko loves to follow her around and groom her.
She likes to try to swat and bite them, but I don't think they can feel it she is so small. Tigra is even accepting her! That is amazing in itself!
Kara is having a blast exploring the apartment and experiencing all the wonderful new smells! One of her favorite spots is Eko's carrier.
She is growing so big, so fast! Look at that adorable belly!
Her other favorite spot is to play with and sleep on my feet!
She is so fun to watch grow and learn and of course sleep!
